Button Craft

So.... i make loads and loads of stuff with Buttons :) nothing feels complete to me, unless it has a button on it. It is how i got into selling buttons!
But there are a million Crafty peeps out there who use buttons in more exciting ways than me....

http://www.etsy.com/shop/PoorRobin - Makes the brightest and most quirky of accessories and hats (with my awesome felt!) and button jewelery. *hello Mel*

http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/partners/laurafallulah/products - Laura is the best at perfecting the Fabric Covered Button - made into brooches (again using some of my felt too) Laura's shop is stunning. I have also been stocked in Laura's shop in the past so you might recognise it.
http://yellowblackbird.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/retro-button-necklace-tutorial.html - I really like the necklace made here. She is not a customer of mine (as far as i know) but i think this piece is a beauty.

http://scrapnstitch.blogspot.co.uk/2009/01/button-necklace-tutorial.html - a really good online tutorial for making a button necklace. Lots of step-by-step photos (if you need them, like i do!)
http://www.etsy.com/shop/CeciliaLui?ref=pr_shop_more  - Pretty pretty pretty. Awesome use of brilliant bright buttons into wearable pieces.

http://bugsandfishes.blogspot.co.uk/2010/11/lots-of-free-crafty-tutorials.html - of course, my lovely LUPIN! and this is her blog. She has used lots of my buttons in her crafty tutorials and also my felt balls. But she is a crafting superstar so don't go over to her blog and love her more than you love me - i'll cry! (and pinch her arm next time i see her :)

  1. I too have a button passion! They're everywhere- including on the dog! I started my button business for hair accessories, but didn't keep up with the sales end of it and all the tax ID stuff- now I have buttons in excess if there is such a thing. Friends and family LOVE getting Buttoned Up gifts!!!
    Love your blog!
